These 5th grade Swedish redwood decking boards are ideal for constructing the base of your deck. Redwood is a sturdy softwood which is affordable, resistant to shrinking/warping, and has a rustic aesthetic with more knots than some types of wood. It is a cost-effective option, resulting in a beautiful, durable deck without a hefty price tag.

 
These boards are pressure-treated too, a process which protects it from rot, insects – it can last many years in your garden with no issues, giving you real bang for your buck.

 
The boards are grooved which improves their durability, as well as reducing the risk of slipping. The grooves allow for the wood to slightly expand and contract, preventing excessive warping, damaging the boards over time. It also allows water to drain away from the surface, and improves traction underfoot, reducing slippiness. Less surface wear is visible with grooved boards, so it’ll look great for even longer.
